What is ACEs at AHS?

Our Mission

Ardsley Community Enrichment (ACE) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to strengthen, enrich and encourage the educational and social environment of Ardsley School District.  We are a group of dedicated Ardsley parents and teachers working together to enhance the educational experience of every student. Our goals are to complement the school curriculum with additional opportunities for students to learn, socialize, communicate and grow.

The Team

The ACE Board is looking to empower you - the  students - to drive the initiatives. Marissa Fiordimalva & Allison Calkins are here to support you and offer guidance along the way. 

Brianne Maranino, Danielle DiMeglio & Christina Lang are the founding members of ACE and Executive Members of ACE and will serve as your liaisons.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Being a part of ACE will offer you the opportunity to build your college resume in a hands-on leadership role that will include public speaking, advocacy and budgeting/accounting. In addition, you will develop community connections by creating inclusive educational and social events for AHS students, teachers and the community from inception to completion.

GRADE CHAIRS 

Each class will have up to four (4) students serve as their Grade Chairs. 

Responsibilities include:

• Attend monthly ACE Board meetings and present ideas and budgets for proposed events

• Develop and action plan social and fundraising ideas for your class, including involving the Budget Coordinators

• Determine Fundraising Goal per year

• Collaborate with Marketing Coordinator to provide content for Social Post

• Collaborating with Communication Coordinator for upcoming meeting agenda items & ownership of action items

• Collaborate with Outreach Coordinator to determine support needed for grade events

• Collaborate with the Recruitment Coordinator to provide volunteer needs for grade events

• Oversight and responsibility for designated Coordinator(s), which will change quarterly during your term 

• Lead AHS events with guidance and assistance from ACE Board
